About this Training
This is not a curriculum-specific training and can be adapted to any CSHE curriculum. The training will provide an overview of CSHE content that is aligned with the Professional Learning Standards for Sex Education. Participants learn foundational skills and knowledge necessary to teach comprehensive sexual health education effectively. Participants complete a curriculum review to prepare instruction by planning any supplemental material and content needed to meet state standards, and plan lesson adaptations or instructional modifications as needed, to align with best practices. The training includes a focus on practical skills for classroom implementation through small group discussions and activities.
