About this Training
This interactive training provides an overview of trauma, including definitions, common responses to trauma, and tools to navigate students’ trauma responses in the classroom. Attendees are given practical tools for creating CSHE instruction that is trauma-informed to support a safe and effective learning environment. This training also explores the importance of recognizing secondary trauma for instructors and identifying sustainable self-care practices. The training includes a focus on practical skills for classroom implementation through small group discussions and activities.

- Define trauma and recognize its types and impacts within the context of CSHE instruction.
