CSHE and Neuro Diversity

This training is intended to build upon the prior learning around implications for Disability Justice and CSHE, with a particular focus on the neurodiversity movement and supporting neurodivergent students, including those with Autism, intellectual, and developmental disabilities. Participants will learn the history of the neurodiversity movement, implications for language, and particular intersections for consideration in CSHE. Finally, participants will have time to reflect on and practice skills applying this knowledge to current CSHE materials and making inclusive accommodations.

  • Practice applying Universal Design for Learning and Differentiated Instruction in a Comprehensive Sexual Health Education context
