Affirmative Consent & Bystander Intervention
Washington State’s sexual health education legislation requires that affirmative consent and bystander intervention be taught as part of comprehensive sexual health education. In this training, we define affirmative consent and bystander training, share ways to model affirmative consent and bystander intervention in the classroom, and explore multiple activities for classroom instruction. This training is most relevant for sexual health education in grades 4 through 12.
